Though I'm a Professional degree holder, Entered media field with the peer interest. I started my career as a reporter in a political based TV channel, then Switched to 24*7 NEWS Channel NEWS7 Tamil. Initially covered political parties and administration related news. My core interest in humanitarian subjects, Made me to report on Health related subjects as well. Because of that, I got selected to undergo UNICEF workshop on “Speak and write for Children” which gave me a wide range of experience to carry out health stories. With that experience Completed a PII- UNICEF fellowship for Children Health issues as well. I strongly believe medias a strong game changer in the medium of Health, as it confronts the administration to do some reasonable change for the Vulnerable. I have attended several other workshops as a Health Journalist. I wish this program will help me to do more stories on WASH.
