I started my career in media in 1999 joining a Bengali Daily ‘Kalantar’ as a copy editor. In October 2000, I joined Aakash Bangla Television Channel as a reporter which started operation in April 2001. Presently I’m working with Zee 24 Ghanta News Channel ( Zee Aakash News PVT LTD) where I joined in September 2006. Here my present designation is Senior Producer. My area of responsibility covers reporting, production of special shows and anchoring. My area of interest includes politics, social and gender issues, Naxalism, environment and wildlife, sports.
