Nistula Hebbar is the Political Editor of The Hindu in New Delhi and has worked in major newspapers in India including The Times of India, The Economic Times, Business Standard and The Indian Express.
She has a Masters in Sociology from the Delhi School of Economics. She covers mostly domestic politics and is also a published author of the Nielsen rated bestseller Kiss and Tell (Penguin, 2012), as well as having contributed to edited books such as The Lives of Muslims in India (Routledge, 2010), and Cabals and Kings (BS books, 2008).
