Senior journalist have been reporting for nearly 30 years. Began my career with the Telegraph, based in Guwahati, Assam. The foreigners issue had exploded by then and the entire north east was aflame. Whether it was Assam, Tripura, Manipur or Nagaland things were happening everywhere. From Telegraph shifted to Times of India, reporting on the north east. Was sent soon after to cover Sri Lanka based in Colombo. Apart from the the LTTE, the Sri Lanka also went through the convulsions of the JVP uprising. Came back from Colombo to Delhi and have mainly covered foreign affairs. I am now a freelancer.
