Ajitha Menon is the political lead at the British Deputy High Commission, Kolkata covering West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Odisha, Chhattisgarh; the eight states North-East India and the U.T. of Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
A former journalist with over 30 years’ experience, Ajitha has worked with top Indian news agencies – Asian New International (ANI) and Press Trust of India (PTI).
She is also a Chevening South Asia Journalism Fellow and a Fulbright Scholar.
