Akangjungla is a writer with The Morung Express newspaper based in Dimapur, Nagaland. She started her career as a field reporter and is currently the Director, News & Administration in The Morung Express.
Besides editing and reporting, she writes a bi-weekly editorial for the newspaper. She has been associated with The Morung Express since June 2007 till date.
Akangjungla holds a PG Diploma in Mass Communication and Journalism from the Nagaland University, Kohima under a collaborative program with the Indian Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi.
